Alhambra with the Nasrid Palaces, Then the Albaicín and Sacromonte on Foot
One booking, two guided visits, and you choose which comes first.
The first is the Alhambra: three hours with an English-speaking guide, at a time of day that changes with the season. The route covers the Nasrid Palaces (subject to ticket availability), the Alcazaba, the Partal, the Medina and the Generalife with its gardens. The meeting point is the Polinario Café Bar.
The second is a walk through the Albaicín and Sacromonte, starting from Plaza de Isabel la Católica, either before or after the Alhambra; which one has to be confirmed when you book. The Albaicín is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with narrow, winding streets from the medieval Arab city, old minarets, hammams and traditional houses around courtyards full of flowers. Sacromonte, higher up the hill, is known for its whitewashed cave houses, its gypsy culture and the zambra, a traditional form of flamenco, and its streets look out over the city. No museums or paid sites are entered on this part, only streets and public spaces.
Between the two there is free time to see Granada on your own.
Alhambra tickets are limited each day, so book well ahead, especially for weekends and holidays. If the operator cannot secure them, it will contact you to arrange another date. Children under 12 must be with an adult, with no more than three children per adult.
Cancellation is free up to 60 days before the activity; later cancellations and no-shows are not refunded.
