Versailles Full Access: Palace Guided, Trianons Included

VersaillesFull access means what it says here: admission to the Grand Trianon, the Petit Trianon and the Hameau de la Reine is included in the price, not sold as an upgrade, and you take them at your own pace after the guided part. The guided half covers the palace itself, where Louis XIV formally moved his court and his government in 1682: the Baroque architecture, the rooms and their art, the State Apartments and the Hall of Mirrors, and how the people who lived here actually lived. The gardens and the Grand Canal follow, self-guided, with admission included. One piece of planning information that matters more than any of the above: trains do not run between Paris Austerlitz and Versailles Château Rive Gauche from 15 July to 23 August. If you are travelling in that window, work out your route before the day. Do not go straight to the palace. Check in first at the GetYourGuide office, a few minutes' walk from the gates.

- The scheduled access time can be delayed on peak days due to various safety controls established by the Versailles Palace.

- The Palace tour lasts 1.5 hours, but add 30 minutes for tickets and security checks.
- From Wednesday 15 July to Saturday 22 August, the RER C will not operate between Paris and Versailles Château Rive Gauche train station, please use lines L (Versailles Rive Droite) or N (Versailles Chantiers) to reach the meeting point.
