The Upper Belvedere is an 18th-century Baroque palace holding one of the most important art collections in Austria, running from the medieval rooms through the Baroque to Viennese Modernism. The Kiss is here, and so are Ferdinand Georg Waldmüller, Egon Schiele, Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh and Auguste Rodin. Being private, the guide will also take you to the names most visitors walk past: László Moholy-Nagy, Marie-Louise von Motesiczky, František Kupka. The longer options add the Lower Belvedere, which was Prince Eugene's actual residence: the Grotesque Hall, the Orangery and the Palace Stables, medieval armour and artefacts, and the temporary exhibitions. The group meets in front of the Art Corner Restaurant. Do not go inside: it is a landmark, and the staff know nothing about the tour.
