The Gardens Get a Guide Too, and the Same Man Drives Every Tour
Most Blarney tours hand you a ticket at the gate and arrange a time to meet you back at the bus. This one keeps the guide with you. The castle and the stone come first. Then a private guided tour of the grounds and gardens, which is the part that separates this itinerary from the others: there is a great deal out there, and almost nobody is told what they are looking at. Afterwards, Cork city: the English Market and St Fin Barre's Cathedral, with the history of the place told on the way, along with the storytelling and the traditional music that go with it. The operator holds the National Tour Guide Certification and drives every tour personally, so the guide is the same person each time. Multi-day tours can be arranged on request.
