Buckingham State Rooms with Van Dyck, Rembrandt and Canaletto
The paintings are the reason to take your time here. Hanging in the State Rooms are works by Van Dyck, Rembrandt, Rubens and Canaletto, and the rooms themselves are furnished with period pieces that run between English and French design. The ticket covers the 19 State Rooms, the ones King Charles III uses for official functions, with a self-guided audio guide in English. You go round at your own pace. What is not included is worth reading twice: there is no guided tour and no transport to or from the palace. Entry is at the designated visitor entrance. Check the opening days and times before booking, because public access is limited to particular periods of the year.
