Changing of the Guard Away from the Palace Railings

The crowd outside Buckingham Palace forms early and does not move, which is why most visitors end up watching the Changing of the Guard through the backs of other people's heads. This tour goes elsewhere. The guide takes the group to the positions that actually work for seeing the ceremony, and explains what is happening while it happens: who the guards are, what the handover involves, and why any of it is done this way.
