Led by the Two Founders, with a Table Already Booked at St Martin
A small-group walk through Malá Strana and Hradčany, run by the two people who set the company up, Jakub and Ondra, rather than by whoever is free that morning. The tram takes the group up the hill, and the day opens with the Czech history needed to make sense of the rest, and a welcome beer at the Strahov monastery brewery, where the monks have been brewing since the 12th century. The route keeps to the quieter side: the Loreta, the New World quarter, which is the best-kept corner of the city, the viewpoints over the roofs, and the main gate of Prague Castle, the largest medieval castle complex in the world. Take note that this is the outside of the castle: the stop is at the gate, and if the timing falls right the changing of the guard at noon happens in front of you. Two thirds of the way through, everyone sits down at a table booked at St Martin for a tasting of Czech food. After that the Lennon Wall and the anti-Soviet resistance it came out of, Kampa Island, and Charles Bridge to finish. You also leave with their own guidebook: where they eat and drink, and which parts of the city they go to when they are not working.

Mostecká 53/4, Malá Strana
The office is in Malá Strana, Mostecká 4. From the Old Town, cross Charles Bridge to the castle side. From the Malostranské náměstí tram stop it is 5 minutes on foot along Mostecká.
Lesser Town
The group takes a tram up the hill, gets the Czech history needed to follow the rest, and then a welcome beer from the local monastery brewery, or another drink. The route mixes the hidden parts, away from the souvenir shops, with the sights everyone comes for: Charles Bridge, the castle, the Lennon Wall. Two thirds of the way through, everyone sits down to a tasting of traditional Czech food. The idea behind it was a single question: with one day in Prague, what is the best way to learn how the city works? You also leave with their guidebook, listing where they eat and drink themselves.
Hradcany
Off the tram and into the Castle District on foot, as good to look at as the Old Town and a great deal calmer.
Strahovsky Klaster
The Strahov Monastery, founded in the 12th century, with its old library and the St Norbert brewery. This is where the group sits down for the welcome drink.
Petrin Park

A stop outside the main gate of the largest medieval castle complex in the world. With the right timing the group catches the main changing of the guard, at noon.
