Private Versailles by Car, via the Place de la Concorde

A private car with a chauffeur, collected from your hotel lobby, and a route out of Paris that passes the Place de la Concorde. That is not a detour for the traffic: it is where the last residents of Versailles were beheaded during the Revolution, which sets up the palace you are about to walk into. Admission is included for the palace and for the Fountains Garden. The guide is a local one and the group is only yours, so the pace follows what interests you rather than a timetable. Inside, the visit covers the palace of the French monarchy and the Hall of Mirrors. The gardens follow. Half day or full day, and at the end the car takes you back to Paris and drops you wherever you want: your hotel, a restaurant, a department store.
