The Guide Does the Palace, the Eleven Acres of Boboli Are Yours Alone
A walk through the historic centre with a guide, a guided tour inside the Palazzo Pitti, and then the garden on your own.
The route through the city takes in the Duomo and the Palazzo Vecchio before the palace itself. Inside the Pitti the guide covers the building and the Palatine Gallery.
The second half works differently. The Boboli Gardens, 11 acres of them, are explored by yourself, at whatever pace the climb allows. The reward at the top is the reason for the climb: from the highest point of the garden the view goes right round, 360 degrees over Florence.
The guide meets the group at the entrance of the Palazzo Pitti.
