The Whole Three Hours Are in German, with a Seal of Prague Guide
Three hours across Prague on foot, with the commentary in German from beginning to end. That is the first thing to check against your group before booking: this is not an English tour with a German handout, it is run in German throughout. The guide holds the Seal of Prague City certification, which the municipality issues to guides who have passed its examination. The route starts in the New Town at Wenceslas Square, takes in the Estates Theatre and the Astronomical Clock on the Old Town Square, and goes through the Jewish Quarter. Then across the river into the Lesser Quarter, and a tram up the hill rather than the climb, to finish in the grounds of Prague Castle.
