Private Highlands Tour with a Guide in a Kilt, Van or Land Rover
A private day with your group alone in the vehicle, and a guide who wears the kilt while doing it. The vehicle is your choice, which is unusual: a comfortable mini van for parties of one to eight, or a Land Rover for one to four. Either is air conditioned, and the guide talks through the local history and the stories as you go. The route starts with a drive through Inverness, past the river, the castle and the cathedral, then out to Loch Ness for the monster and the Highland cows. Urquhart Castle comes with a thousand years of history; note that its entrance fee is extra and paid on the day. Culloden Battlefield brings the Jacobites and the Highland clans, and the Clava Cairns are 4,000-year-old stone structures.
