Alcázar and Cathedral with Named Tickets: Bring Your Original ID
A guided tour of the two monuments Seville is known for, with one condition worth reading before you book. The Alcázar issues nominative tickets. Each one belongs to a named person, identified by ID card or passport, and the original document has to be produced at the gate on the day of the visit. A photograph or a copy will not do, and the Alcázar itself allows neither changes nor cancellations once the ticket is issued. Nobody enjoys reading this, but arriving without the right document is the single most common way to lose a booking here. With that settled: the Royal Alcázar is the oldest royal palace in Europe, holding several palaces and gardens that have been growing for centuries, and Game of Thrones filmed in them. The Cathedral is the third largest church in the world, with the heritage that goes with that rank. At the end of the guided part, the Giralda tower can be climbed on foot, at your own pace, for the view over the city. The group meets in front of the Tourism Information Office on the Plaza del Triunfo.
