Beefeater Meet and Greet with Tower Green and the Battlements

Three hours inside the Tower, and the part that is hard to get anywhere else comes first: a private audience with one of the Yeoman Warders. You can ask questions, take photographs, and hear the stories from someone who lives on the site. After that the guide takes the main points of the fortress. Tower Green, where three English queens were executed. The Raven's Den. The battlements along the walls. The 11th-century White Tower, which holds the Royal Armouries: the Line of Kings, an exhibition that has been running for 350 years, and the royal armours of Henry VIII, Charles I and James II. The Crown Jewels close the visit. The collection was worn by queens and kings past and present, and at its centre sits the Coronation Regalia, used to crown the sovereigns of England since 1661. When the tour finishes you can stay inside the Tower at your own pace or leave with the guide. There is no re-entry once you are out.
