London Sightseeing with Changing of the Guard and a Harrods Cream Tea
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
LondonThis is a London day rather than a Tower day, and the Tower is one stop on it. The coach starts with a run through the City, past the streets and squares, before the walking begins. St Paul's Cathedral comes with admission included and a guide inside. Westminster Abbey is a photo stop, Gothic and familiar as the church where Prince William and Princess Kate married, with Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in the same frame. Then the Changing of the Guard outside Buckingham Palace, on selected dates: the Household Division in scarlet tunics and bearskin caps, a precise handover, a regimental band playing through it. The Tower of London gets free time for lunch around it, and with the full-day option, admission: the Yeoman Warders, the Crown Jewels, and Tower Bridge alongside. The day then moves onto the Thames for a cruise past Shakespeare's Globe, The Shard and the rest of the skyline. Two upgrades are sold on top. A cream tea at Harrods, with sparkling wine, which also changes where your day ends, at the store on Brompton Road. Or a flight on the London Eye over the river. Boarding starts at 7.30am and the coach leaves at 7:45 from Gate 19 inside Victoria Coach Station, about seven minutes on foot from Victoria Underground and Railway station.
