A Driver Rather Than a Guide, and the Pickup Can Be the Airport
A private day out of Munich to Neuschwanstein and Linderhof, arranged around a car and a driver rather than a guided commentary. Pickup is wherever you agree when booking: a hotel, an apartment, the airport, or any other address in Munich. The vehicle is air-conditioned, and the driver stays with you all day, including the practical parts, luggage among them. At Neuschwanstein the time is free time. The same at Linderhof, where the palace, the gardens and the park around them are walked at whatever pace suits you. Then the drive back, and a drop-off at whichever address you choose. What this buys, compared with a guided coach, is control of the day. What it does not include is a guide talking you through the castles.

The day starts with pickup at your chosen address in Munich. The English-speaking driver meets you at the agreed time and the drive out into Bavaria begins.
Schloss Neuschwanstein
Neuschwanstein, with free time to walk the area, look at the castle and take in the mountains around it. The driver stays available through the stop.

- For those planning a visit to Neuschwanstein Castle, we recommend departing from your accommodation around 7:00–7:30 AM. This allows plenty of time for the journey and securing tickets on-site. While tickets can be purchased online, they often sell out during peak seasons. However, arriving early significantly increases your chances of getting tickets in person. If tickets are unavailable, don’t worry! You can still enjoy the stunning surroundings, take a scenic walk, and admire the castle’s breathtaking exterior—especially from the famous nearby Mary's bridge, which offers spectacular views.
