Three Castles in a Day, a Driver and a Guide, and the Plansee on the Way
Three castles in one day, privately, which is one more than most itineraries out of Munich attempt. Neuschwanstein comes first, after the drive through the countryside. Then a lunch break with your group, before the driver and the private guide take you on to Hohenschwangau, the castle at the foot of the first one. Linderhof is last. There is a short coffee break there, and then time to walk in the park around the palace. At the end of the day in the Bavarian Alps, the driver takes you back to Munich. The two roles are worth noting: a driver handling the road and a private guide handling the castles, rather than one person doing both.
