Headsets for the Crowded Rooms, and It Can Still Be Cancelled

A guided tour of Schönbrunn with the ticket line skipped, covering 22 rooms and then the gardens. Headsets are worth mentioning first, because they decide what the visit is like. The state rooms fill up, and without them half the commentary is lost to the noise of other groups; with them the guide is audible from the back of the room. Use them. The route takes in 22 rooms, the Great Gallery and the Hall of Ceremonies among them, with the Habsburgs and Empress Elisabeth as the thread through the household. The gardens come afterwards: the statues, the fountains, the Roman Ruin, and the Gloriette on its hill with Vienna spread out below it. Unlike some tickets to the same palace, this one can be cancelled free of charge up to the date chosen for the visit.
