Tower of London Admission with the Medieval Palace and Royal Beasts
A straight admission ticket to the Tower of London, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has been a royal palace, a prison, an armoury, a royal mint and an execution ground, sometimes several of those at once. William the Conqueror built it in 1066, and more than a thousand years of history have accumulated since. The ticket covers the White Tower, the Crown Jewels, and two parts of the site that get overlooked: the Medieval Palace, where the kings actually lived, and the Royal Beasts, which tells the story of the menagerie the Tower once kept. The Line of Kings is in the White Tower with the armouries. The Yeoman Warders are on the grounds throughout, and their history is part of the visit.
