Tower of London Opening Ceremony with a Six-Language App

Two things separate this from a plain ticket: you go in before the general public, and after the ceremony nobody hurries you. The Opening Ceremony is led by a Beefeater, and it is what the early access buys. After it, the Crown Jewels in the Jewel House, including the regalia used in royal ceremonies. Then the Tower is yours at your own pace, with a self-guided app that works in English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and German. It narrates the White Tower and its Norman architecture, the Inner Ward, and the Outer Ward with the walls and the views out from them. Nothing else is on the itinerary. The whole booking stays inside the fortress, which is the point of it: more time in one place instead of a stop on a city circuit. Meet directly in front of the Ticket Office at the Tower of London, by the City Wonders sign. From Tower Hill tube station it is a three minute walk: head west, turn right towards Trinity Square, then left onto Trinity Square. The service ends at Buckingham Palace.
