Meet Outside the Benetton Shop, and Note That All Sales Are Final
A small-group day out of Brașov, up to eight people, through the rural country under the Carpathians. Peleș Castle at Sinaia comes first, entered without queueing, then the Sinaia monastery next to it. Bran Castle follows, with the guide on its history and the Dracula legends, and lunch at a local restaurant in Bran village if the group wants one. Râșnov fortress is last, for the view. The day ends by 5 pm. One thing to settle before booking: all sales are final and cancellations are not refunded.

Brasov Historical Center
The road to Sinaia runs up the Prahova valley, past the mountain resorts of Predeal, Azuga and Bușteni, following the river. The best of it is at Bușteni, where the high peaks of the Bucegi come into view: Caraiman, Costila and Omu. Sinaia was once an aristocratic resort, and Peleș Castle there was the summer residence of the Romanian royal family. It took Carol I almost 40 years to build.

Manastirea Sinaia
On the road to Bran stands the Sinaia monastery, one of the oldest in Romania, with 300 years of history and a long connection to the royal family. It has two churches, built 150 years apart.
Bran Castle
Bran Castle, called Dracula's castle, stands at the mouth of the Bran-Rucar pass. It was built between 1377 and 1382 on a rock 60 metres high. Afterwards, lunch at a local restaurant: salads, soups, sarmale, meat and vegetables and the rest of the regional cooking. Food and drinks are at your own expense, and a traditional lunch can be arranged in Bran village.

Rasnov Citadel: Garden and Panoramic View
Râșnov fortress was built in the 13th century. It is the largest in Transylvania and among the best preserved in Romania, and from the top the whole of the Țara Bârsei plain is laid out below you.
