Stonehenge Inner Circle Access from London with Windsor
Ratings collected by Viator and Tripadvisor
LondonOrdinary tickets to Stonehenge stop at the rope. This one does not: the day includes access to the inner stone circle, the area normally closed to visitors, who see the monument from the path outside it. Inside the circle you stand among the sarsens, up to 30 feet (9 metres) tall and 25 tons each, in the quiet that comes with being there outside public hours. Departures run in the morning or the afternoon and the choice is yours at booking. Windsor fills the other half of the day. The town sits on the river in the Royal County of Berkshire, with medieval streets, tea rooms and shopping arcades, and a guide to work through its history. Windsor Castle dominates the skyline: one of the monarch's official residences, the ancestral home of the British monarchy for almost 1,000 years, and the largest continuously occupied castle in Europe. Admission to the castle is not included, though tickets can be bought on the day. The alternative is a walking tour of the town. The coach leaves from Evan Evans Tours and finishes at Victoria Station. Dates running in 2026: May 16, 23, 25, 27, 30 June 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13 July 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29 August 1, 3, 5, 8, 10, 12, 15, 17, 19, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31 September 2, 5, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 21

Stonehenge
This tour is invited into the Inner Circle, an area restricted to ordinary visitors, which puts Stonehenge in front of you as few people see it. Walk around the sacred inner circle and stand among the giant sarsens, up to 30 feet (9 metres) tall and 25 tons in weight. The crowds are elsewhere, and the site is at its most atmospheric.
Windsor Castle
A quintessentially English town on the river, set in the rolling hills of the Royal County of Berkshire. Wander the medieval streets, look into the quaint tea rooms and shopping arcades, and let the guide bring the town's history to life. Windsor Castle dominates the skyline and works as one of the monarch's official residences. It has been the ancestral home of the British Monarchy for almost 1,000 years and is the largest continuously occupied castle in Europe. Admission to Windsor Castle is not included, but tickets can be purchased on the day of the tour.
