Windsor Castle Half-Day from London with Pub Lunch or London Eye
Half a day rather than a full one, with the second half spent back in London on whichever upgrade you pick. Windsor is just over an hour's drive out. The castle was the main residence of the late Queen Elizabeth II from 2011 to 2022, and around 150 people live there now. The visit takes in St George's Chapel and the sumptuous State Apartments. Then the choice, all of them booking upgrades rather than inclusions. A traditional pub lunch at a centrally located pub, classic fish and chips or a vegetarian meal. A ride on the London Eye, the tallest observation wheel in Europe. Or the State Rooms of Buckingham Palace, with the royal art collection inside, which are open to the public in the summer months only, from mid-July to the end of September. Boarding starts at 7.30am and the coach leaves at 7:45 from Gate 19 to 20, inside Victoria Coach Station at 164 Buckingham Palace Road, about seven minutes on foot from Victoria Underground and Railway station.
