Everything else is the standard three-site day out of Victoria Coach Station: boarding from 7.30am, departure at 8, and a guide who takes each stop in turn. Windsor comes first. The town wears its royal connection openly, and the castle stands over the rest of it: the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy, and the largest inhabited castle in the world. Kings and queens have used it as a family home for almost 1,000 years, and it is one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. Its 10.5 hectares take in the State Apartments, hung with some of the finest works in the Royal Collection and arranged to the changing taste of Charles II and George IV, and St George's Chapel in the Lower Ward, a Royal Peculiar seating about 800. Bath is second. The Roman Baths sit at the centre of the World Heritage Site and still run with natural hot water from the city's thermal springs, though admission there is a booking option rather than a given. Bath Abbey, founded in the 7th century and given major restoration work by Sir George Gilbert Scott in the 1860s, is on the same stop, as is Pulteney Bridge: Robert Adam designed it in 1769, and only three other bridges in the world have shops along the full span on both sides. Stonehenge is last, 5,000 years old and still argued over. Who built it, why, and what its link to the summer and winter solstice was for are the questions the guide takes on. The exhibition centre holds 250 ancient objects and the remains of a man who died 5,500 years ago.

Windsor Castle
Windsor's reputation rests on its links to the British royal family, and the town is steeped in pageantry and history. Windsor Castle towers over the rest of it, the ancestral home of the English and later British monarchy and the largest inhabited castle in the world. British kings and queens have kept it as a family home for almost 1,000 years, and it is one of the official residences of His Majesty The King. At over 10.5 hectares it makes for a varied day out, the magnificent State Apartments and St George's Chapel among the stops. The State Apartments hold some of the finest works from the Royal Collection, and the rooms record the changing tastes of the royal occupants, above all Charles II and George IV. Much of the art still stands in the historic setting the kings and queens of Windsor first collected or commissioned it for.
St. George's Chapel
St George's Chapel is designed in the high-medieval Gothic style and sits in the Lower Ward of Windsor Castle, with seating for approximately 800. It is a Royal Peculiar, a church under the direct jurisdiction of the monarch, and the Chapel of the Order of the Garter.
The Roman Baths
At the heart of the City of Bath World Heritage Site are the remarkably preserved remains of one of the greatest religious spas of the ancient world. The city's thermal springs rise on the site, which is unique to Bath, and the baths still flow with natural hot water. (If you select include admission.)

Bath Abbey
Bath Abbey is an Anglican parish church in Bath, Somerset, and a former Benedictine monastery. It was founded in the 7th century, reorganised in the 10th and rebuilt in the 12th and 16th; Sir George Gilbert Scott carried out major restoration work in the 1860s.
Pulteney Bridge
Robert Adam designed Pulteney Bridge in 1769. Only four bridges in the world have shops across the full span on both sides, and this is one of them, which is part of why it is among the most photographed pieces of Georgian architecture in the city.
Stonehenge
